We went against our feelings to purchase the camper there because the salesman, Dan, was so awesome, we did. I wish we went with our feelings and went somewhere else.
I am only giving this a 2 star is because the sales part was terrific. The service department and customer service is 0 Stars. Within the first month we found issues wrong with the camper. Brought it in for the refrigerator because it would not keep cold and our food would spoil and the freezer would defrost into the floor and no electricity was going through parts of the camper. Was assured it would be within 2 weeks. Over a month later we finally got it back only after many phone calls and then a conversation with a manager.
Oh wow! I’ll NEVER shop for ANYTHING camper related anywhere else. My salesman, Joey, seriously went the EXTRA mile to help us get into our camper. We got a GREAT deal and couldn’t be happier. They even delivered it right to our home ALL IN THE SAME DAY! We shopped online, picked which one we liked, came up to Tallahassee, saw our choice, loved it, and in the same day we slept in it! (We are full-timers). Every one employed there was SUPER helpful and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and happy through the entire process! They answered every question and everyone seemed so happy it was AWESOME. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thanks again Joey!
Top level service from everyone. All our concerns were answered. Morgan was by our side through the whole process. The few issues with the RV were addressed. We drove from Southern Florida and are so glad we did. Love our new RV.
I have been to Camping World three times so far in a quest for a camper. The first time I was shown several that would work, the second time I was shown just the ones I was interested in so I could look at them in detail. The third time I closed the deal. Each time I was treated very nicely, given all the time I needed, and so far I have been very impressed with their service. There were a couple of items that came up I was not told about in the beginning as far as dealer prep fees and other fees, I probably should have asked. Just be aware it is much like buying a car, which I did not really expect. So that was my fault. I will follow up if for any reason delivery is not as smooth as the prior experience has been. So far everyone I have had contact with has been extremely helpful.
Be careful if buying a camper. They don't always follow through on verbal promises, make sure u get everything in writing.
The store is great, if you get the right person helping you. Some of the folks up there are clueless as clams but a lot of them are campers and know what works and what don't.
Went camping again and found the refrigerator is still not working and now we also smell gas and the carbon monoxide alarm went off. A week and a half later, the camper is just beginning to be looked at and the service department guy named Daniel acts like he rather be fishing than helping you. I am constantly on hold, or am told someone will call me back and still do not get any accurate information about our camper. We are supposed to go camping this weekend, but after a week and a half, they haven't even began to solve the issues and Friday is only two days away.
Overall, Camping World is pretty decent.
